Settled down to some more stitching by early afternoon yesterday. Managed to do 437 stitches but will wait to post another picture as its hard to see what I have added lol. The shades of grey are so similar its hard to see where i am stitching new shades.
I will blog as often as I can to show my progression and chat about the ups and downs...and the inevitable odd day when the stitch bug deserts me ha ha....I've just ordered the remaining threads I need for my next project, a vampire girl for my best friend so I'm quite excited to receive them in a few days and I have just finished designing a keepsake for two very good friends who got married a couple of years ago. It should look very effective when it's done, well, at least I hope it does lol.
It took longer than I thought to design it....but I won't say too much on this just yet...got to keep some surprises for you all lol.
Well the afternoon is going quickly and I am back to work tomorrow and want to get a good chunk of this project done this afternoon so I had better go....enjoy your day all.

Well....new year and lots of plans. One of them is to blog about the things I stitch and craft during 2012. I was going to take part in the Cross Stitch Crazy 2012 challenge in which you choose 15 projects and start one new one each day in first 15 days of January and then finish them off at your own speed during the rest of the year. However, I couldn't afford all the materials and threads I needed so I will do them at my own speed anyway.
So, yesterday I made a start on an ongoing project I am doing for a good friend. A Husky, the project is a husky, not the good friend ha ha. It's done on 18count aida with DMC threads. Lots of shades of grey.
I did 349 stitches during the afternoon and evening yesterday...thought it would be good to count them so I can see how many I do as a way of charting progress. The other way is to take pics each time as a visual way to see how I am doing lol. 349 stitches in the same colour does get a bit boring though lol.
Well must go back to it ....
